I have been obsessed with telling stories for as long as I can remember. From my days scribbling tales about teddy bears to earning my MFA in Creative Nonfiction from Butler University to now helping others share their words with the world, I cannot get enough—and I bring that passion to every project I take on.

My love for nonfiction started with John Steinbeck (like so many things do, right?) and his book, Travels with Charlie. As a junior in high school, I’d never read anything like it. You mean you can write books about driving an RV around the U.S. with your dog?! It still sounds like fun. But the book did so much more than tell John’s story; it opened my mind to the wider world of writing, and I never looked back.

I have worked on essays, children’s books, short-form memoirs, full-length manuscripts, book proposals, keynote speeches, and more. When it comes to helping you get your project into the world, I will meet you where you are, whether you have the kernel of an idea but aren’t sure how to develop it or if you have a completed manuscript but don’t know if it’s “ready.” Together, we can make your dream a reality.
